Welland Valley FC Repair the Brook Carpark

Saturday 18/04/2015 saw a band of helpers gather together to repair the Brook top end car park.

Over the last few years the holes have steadily got worse, this meant that driving into the car park without scraping the underside of most cars was almost impossible due the state of the holes.  As there  was no sign of the Council stepping in to ensure that there was no possible damage to all the users of the park a group of parents organised 10ton of hardcore to be delivered and ‘Team Hardcore’ sprung into action.

A HUGE Thanks goes to all that volunteered to carry out the works and for the parents that organised it all, the ‘T’ hut was ferrying constant cups of tea and coffee to keep the works going, thanks to the club welfare officer for boiling the kettle.
