Paul Anderson

Welland Valley FC would like to send our thanks and appreciation to Paul Anderson for taking the time and braving the weather to come and see us.

A really huge thank you to all players and parents who came to see Paul at the brook on Tuesday night, There was a great turn out even in the hail and rain!

Paul was good enough to sign photos, shirts, boots, programmes and anything else anybody wanted! Many of the players and most the parents have had photos taken with him too.

Photos are in the galleries area of the website. HERE

Further thanks go to Andy Carter for arranging this evening and also to Steve Elliott for running an “everyone welcome” match for the players and siblings.

Paul Anderson-Meet and Greet session – 25/04/201

Current NTFC player Paul Anderson will be at at the Brook from 6 – 7pm on Tues 25th April for any people who are involved with Welland, to come along and ask questions, get autographs and have your photo taken with him.

Welland Valley FC are Pauls player sponsor for the 2016/2017 season and he has been kind enough to come and visit us.

Northampton Town signed former Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Swansea City, Ipswich Town and Bradford City winger Paul Anderson in August 2016. A player of proven pedigree, Anderson started his career at Liverpool, making more than 50 appearances in loan spells for Nottingham Forest and Swansea City. A permanent £250,000 move to Forest followed, and he made over 100 appearances in his stay at the City Ground before moving to Bristol City. After a season at Ashton Gate he moved to Ipswich Town and made more than 70 appearances in two years for the Tractor Boys before signing for Bradford City. During his time at Ipswich he topped the club’s ‘assists’ chart in the 2014/15 season and supporters started a petition to try and keep him at the club.
