As a member of Welland Valley FC, you will be expected to sign up to and adhere to the FA’s RESPECT code of conduct policies, These detail the expectations of players, coaches, match officials and spectators and how they behave in a footballing environment. All visitors to Welland Valley FC are also expected to adhere to the RESPECT code of conduct and we thank you in advance for doing so.
Many children and young people have a fantastic experience through football – some don’t. This may be down to aggressive or pushy coaches and parents screaming and shouting from the sidelines. Respect highlights that this behaviour is unacceptable. The RESPECT code of conduct helps coaches and parents understand the effect this behaviour can have and share positive ways to motivate young players.
Any player, parent, spectator, coach or match official who does not adhere to the RESPECT Codes that they sign up to; will be dealt with in accordance with the RESPECT policy guidelines.
A copy of the various RESPECT codes of conduct can be found below and also in the documents section of our website.
